The FCEDA board today consists of seven members, coming from a variety of fields and backgrounds to ensure a well-rounded and thoroughly knowledgeable economic development team. Board members bring expertise in real estate, financial services, nonprofits, insurance, civil engineering and transportation. Moreover, they are all active members of their communities, serving on numerous boards and supporting an array of civic causes.

Jason SpringJason joined Vizient last year as vice president, network connections where he serves as the executive officer for Vizient Mid-America and Arkansas/Oklahoma networks. He is responsible for the engagement of member hospital and health system senior executives in Vizient’s networking and collaboration offering and ensuring that members maximize opportunities to learn, improve and build together in order to address their most pressing clinical, quality and operational challenges.
Jason has over 30 years in the healthcare industry serving in various leadership roles including 17 years as a hospital CEO and 5 years as Chief Strategy Officer of a regional healthcare system. Jason has been engaged in a number of charitable and community organizations throughout his career. He is currently active in community organizations with a focus on economic development in Northwest Montana. He received a B.S. in Business and Economics at Centenary College of Louisiana and Masters in Health Services Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Toby LiechtiToby Liechti grew up in Lakeside and graduated from Flathead High School in 2008. He then went on to graduate from MSU-Bozeman with a degree in Civil Engineering and is now a licensed professional engineer in the state of Montana. Toby has been involved in numerous commercial and residential development projects all across the valley and is heavily involved with several community organizations. He currently serves as the president of the Kalispell Legion Baseball Association, is a board member on the Flathead County Board of Adjustment, and is a former board member of the Flathead Area Young Professionals. He is looking forward to seeing FCEDA wrap up its current projects and is excited to see what’s next for FCEDA and Flathead County.
